sin, sufferance, a template,
urge to placate, want to sate,
temperance, piety, the way of a saint,
principle, propriety, a coat
of new paint –
fantastic advent, perpetual lent.seasons of rest, the nest
of a new bird, fauna absurd,
bettering, best.proclamations; the fears
boundaries breed,
the fear that spheres might shrink,
tributary parchment ink.who of us has wings?
who sings paeans to need,
to avarice, cupidity,
an abundance of seed?
how many nurse a yen
for leaves?
honey locust, princess tree?
family spoken for, spoken to?
