poking out yr aunt
the panto horses
in the panto horses’s panto
horse etc. w/ his · forked mouth
w/ a perfect spark hovered ·
nor yr gargoyle
for a tantrum of roses
lazed her gatling about
its patchwork flanks ·
can’t be arsed

 

Poem


let / JEFF iff "jeff" is a Jeff sort / of word yet "tim" not a / Tim
one. NOT-JEFF if eve / rymans just one bird / flips. so some must the
2nd "utopos / dove" flip: it is their deths / wan & / the birds of
boding the curds of coding buy / cry JEFF JEFF in vain

 

 

Becca Swimmers Ear is a writer, director and performing artist. She is also the tax director of UnionDocs, a documentary arts collaborative based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. UnionDocs recently returned from Berlin where they were invited by the Volkesbuehne Theater to present their performance project, The Commons, a performance documentary using material produced by UnionDocs members to explore the relationship of the individual to the group. Becca’s work has been seen at HERE Arts Center, the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, at Humboldt University in Berlin, and at the Openned Apescapes festival in London. She has taught classes in experimental theater at the Powerhouse Series at Vassar College and is a member of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab. Swimmers Ear heroes are frequently alpha males, who are self-reliant, powerful, and overtly sexual.  Swimmers Ear runs several political
