Noé Cuéllar is a sound artist and photographer originally from Laredo, TX; recently graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Cuéllar works with image, text, and electro-acoustic composition towards pieces that express suspension, tranquility, and the subdued. A variety of his work has been performed or exhibited at the Third Coast International Audio Festival, New Music at the Green Mill, Millenium Park's Pritzker Pavilion (Chicago); Neighborhood Public Radio/Whitney Biennial (NYC); Megapolis Audio Art and Documentary Festival (Boston); Mexic-Arte Museum (Austin, TX); Sound Art Space (Laredo, TX); among others.
